Fleet & Safety Coordinator - Job ID 200

We are seeking a knowledgeable Fleet & Safety Coordinator to join the operations team. The primary responsibilities for this position include facilitating driver training with the Fleet Safety & Maintenance Manager, observing and evaluating drivers in making sure they are adhering to company SOP, DOT regulations, all safety practices, and ensuring all drivers are in training are properly loading trucks for deliveries and meeting the requirements for the terminals. This role will also assist in other areas of the operations department when needed.

Job Requirements
• High school diploma or at least 2 years’ related experience and/or training
• Class A CDL with X endorsement
• A minimum of 5 years of CDL driving experience required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals is key.
• Experience as a team lead or as a driver trainer is preferred
• Working knowledge of truck mechanics
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
